Memorial Day 2020 May 22nd – May 25th
Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries 6500 s Redwood Road
Each year thousands of Utah families come and visit their loved ones in each of our five beautiful cemeteries. This year we will have bagpipe concerts, a Memorial Day Address by Spencer Cox, Lieutenant Governor of the state of Utah, pre-packaged cookies, snacks, and beverages. Come celebrate with us and help us honor those who sacrificed everything for our great nation. For a list of all our cemetery locations please visit www.MemorialUtah.com.
Due to the current circumstances and in order to protect our employees and the families who wish to visit their loved ones, we will be putting into place additional social distancing measures this year.
– At this year’s bagpipe concerts we will not set up chairs. Instead, we encourage families to enjoy the concert by the graveside of their loved ones or somewhere on the grounds where social distancing can be practiced.
– We will have seating spaced apart for the Lieutenant Governor’s remarks. Seating will be limited and we encourage families to space themselves apart in order to practice social distancing.
– We ask families that come to our cemeteries this year to please practice social distancing at all times by maintaining at least six feet of distance from other visitors at all times.
