Miley Cyrus is back at the top of the Billboard 200 with Bass Persuades, marking her first No. 1 album on the chart since Bangerz in 2013.
Billboard reported that the album opened with roughly 61,000 to 62,000 equivalent album units in the United States. The debut gives Cyrus another major chart milestone more than a decade after one of the biggest commercial periods of her career.
Bass Persuades follows her 2025 album Something Beautiful, which debuted at No. 4. The new release continues a run that has kept Cyrus visible across pop music while allowing her sound and public image to keep evolving.
Songs including the title track and Let’s Get Married are also part of the album’s early activity. The chart performance shows that Cyrus continues to draw significant interest from listeners even as the music market changes around her.
For Cyrus, the No. 1 debut adds another chapter to a career that has moved through pop, rock, and more experimental styles while maintaining a broad audience.
